When your battery comes to us, it doesn’t get shipped off to a warehouse three hours away. Our technicians handle everything on site, from the first diagnostic check to the final test before your car leaves.

We also offer mobile installation if you’d rather have a technician come to your home or workplace. But the batteries themselves are built and tested at our Manchester workshop first.
Experience Behind the Workshop
Greentec Auto started in 2012 in California, when three brothers began remanufacturing hybrid batteries in their father’s auto shop. That original US company, greentecauto.com, grew into one of North America’s most established names in hybrid and EV battery remanufacturing. The same approach is now used in Canada through greentecauto.ca.
Manchester is where that training and know-how landed in the UK. Our Trafford Park facility is Greentec’s first UK site, and it was built to bring the same hands-on remanufacturing process that’s been proven across North America directly to British drivers.
What Happens to Your Old Battery
When we remanufacture a hybrid battery, we test every cell inside the old pack. Strong, healthy cells are kept and reused. Weak cells are removed and recycled properly.
